Hi! I’m Katie Crabb, a 4th year medical student from the University of Birmingham. Surgery fascinates me for its combination of problem-solving, intricacy, and the profound impact it has on patients’ lives. Within surgery, I’m particularly passionate about gynaecology and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in women’s health. As a regional representative, I’m committed to mentoring peers, connecting students with teaching opportunities, sharing resources, and helping them gain practical experience. I hope to continue to build our collaborative surgical network where all students can feel inspired and empowered to become the surgeons of the future.
